Doctors and biologists, are these so called benefits of green tea actually true?

rotection against cardiovascular disease – Cardiovascular diseases are often caused or worsened by having a high level of free radicals or toxins in the blood vessels, and the antioxidants in green tea inhibit those free radicals from being produced.
Protection against cancer-Cancer spreads quickly because it encourages the rapid multiplication of abnormal cells. As with free radicals, green tea antioxidants slow the production of cells and the cancer’s development.
Increased bone density-Green tea both protects cells responsible for creating new bone as well as destroys cells that break down bone. The result is that green tea can build a person’s bone density and help protect against osteoporosis.
Promotion of fat loss-With its combination of antioxidants and caffeine, green tea has a unique ability to help its drinkers lose fat by inhibiting the enzyme that turns fatty acids into fat cells. Losing weight becomes much more manageable when drinking a daily cup of green tea.
Protection against neurodegenerative disease-One of the most important benefits of green tea is its antioxidants’ ability to remove iron from the blood and protect certain brain cells necessary for memory retention and spatial cognition. Studies have shown that green tea can decrease its drinkers’ risk for Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s and dementia.

Except most of what you said is nonsense and completely unsupported by the evidence.

Green tea does contain antioxidants, which are beneficial, but it isn’t some magic cure-all. It hasn’t been demonstrated to cure cancer, prevent dementia, prevent heart disease, etc. Like many foods in alt.med land, the benefits are over stated.

It contains caffeine, which in excess may not be a good thing.

Most of the studies regarding green tea, and their affect on cells, has been laboratory research only, you cannot extrapolate that research to humans. Human physiology is extremely complex.

Evidence isn’t a requirement to the alties, faith is. If it looks good and sounds about right (remember most of their science knowledge is preschool) they say it works.

Most systemic reviews find that drinking it in moderation is safe, but it’s anti- Cancer properties and effect on the course of Alzheimers and Parkinson disease remain unproven.

Why do I feel dizzy sometimes when I drink green tea?

Why do I feel dizzy often when I drink green tea? According to the box, the tea is caffeine free. And I only steep the tea bag in the cup for 3-4 minutes. I thought green tea is supposed to be healthy for us.
I drink the tea only every other day
(only one tea bag every other day)
Be more specific besides saying "It’s not good for you" or "It’s a sign from your body to stop taking it" Give the reason why or don’t answer my question.

If its caffeine free, I really dont see anything in green tea which would be causing you to feel dizzy.

Try drinking non-green tea to see if you have the same problem.

Maybe its an allergy to the tannins, but Id say this is really unlikely, plus you’d have the same problem with black or brown tea, and probably red wine too
