Why hello there, I’m doing a 20 day detox diet. It is also known as “The Master Cleanse”, “The Lemonade Diet”, and “The Lemon Detox Diet”
Approx 6 times a day, I drink a big glass of Detox Lemonade. Each time it contains:
2Tbsp 100% Maple Syrup
2Tbsp Lemon juice (Freshly squeezed)
A pinch of Cajun pepper
Tepid water
oh, and at night I will drink slimming herbal tea and every morning I will drink a litre of luke warm salt water….its gross.
Why am I doing this?

So… im a 17 year old girl trying to get ready for my graduation trip to cabo! I joined two p.e. classes (one womens weight lifting) where we do HELLA cardio, some flexiblity, and weightlifting! plus every wednesday is conditioning which usually consists of a 20-30 minute run (my teacher used to be a personal trainer..she kicks ass) lol and my second class is a walking for fitness where we have to speed walk 3 miles up and down hill in 35 minutes or less, walkings is not super hard i know even at a fast pace, but it defintly gets my heart racing and a good sweat going.I switched my diet and have been eating super well (egg whites, fruits, veggies, no fast food, water&herbal tea only, small meals throughout the day instead of three big ones ect.) Its only been about a week and a half but I havent seen any weight loss yet…is this normal? or should i be working out more? I feel great and Ive never been in such good shape before, Im only 15 pounds from my target weight and i would like to start seeing myslef slim down here!!
any advice?
you need to monitor your calories intake. you’d be suprised at how many calories one can intake. especially a meat eater. there is an AP called myfitnesspal for iphone, ipod etc you can use to track your calories. its also online too. remember anything you eat probably has calories and they all add up.and its only been a week. you wont lose a lot that fast. give yourself a month, then weigh and see where you are.
